Length 2.5 to 3.5 mm.  Usually brachypterous.   Head and pronotum pale with some darker markings in male. Pale whitish forewings, and a dark frons with prominaent white keels.  Sexually dimorphic; males have a dark scutellum with a white tip and darker abdomen; females are paler.   Males can be identified by the large semicircular groove in the side of the genital segment at the end of the abdomen.

Good quality photos, ideally from a specimen, from top down, side view and of face.  Dissection of male genitalia will help to confirm ID
