Description
Zoophthora forficulae fatally attacks Earwigs (Forficula sp). The fungus emerges through the thin cuticular intersegmental parts of the host body.
Recording advice
Microscopic examination of fungal spores (conidia) may be needed. You must identify the host insect, at least to family.
