A small bright yellow club found in grasslands, usually solitary or in small groups.  It is usually unbranched, and individual clubs are often twisted; tips are usually blunt. The spores are small, round, and covered in warts.

Golden Spindles (Clavulinopsis fusiformis) and Apricot Club (Clavulinopsis luteoalba).  Microscopic examination of spores is needed to separate.
