Description
Body length 1.9-2.3mm. Prosoma brown to dark brown, radial stripes and narrow margin darker. Legs yellow-brown. Opisthosoma grey-black.
Recording advice
Microscopic examination of the genitalia is required to confirm this species.
Habitat
In open, damp localities. Generally found in moss, grass and detritus but has also been recorded from grasslands, wet moorland, heathland, woodland and gardens.
When to see it
Spring-Autumn.
UK Status
Widespread throughout most of Britain.
