Dark reddish-brown cap, becoming yellowish-brown.  White flecks of veil at edge. Gills greyish-brown to darker brown.

This is a difficult species, and we recommend that it is verified by an expert from a specimen before submission to Naturespot.  Microscopic examination may be needed.  Also photograph from top down, in side view and underneath to show gills and full length of stipe; note habitat and substrate.
