Length 4 or 5 mm. A brown weevil with rather a dark and light striped appearance when fresh. There are other weevils with a similar appearance and detailed examination is necessary for identification.

Other Sitonia species. Dissection is necessary to distinguish between them.

Unless identified by a recognised expert, photographic evidence is required and the specimen should be examined with a microscope. In the comments box, state the key or ID method used.
