Oegoconia quadripuncta, Oegoconia caradjai and Oegoconia deauratella can only be reliably separated by genitalia dissection. Where specimens have not been confirmed by this means they should be recorded as Oegoconia quadripuncta agg.

Common as an aggregate in Britain. Oegoconia quadripuncta would appear to be by far the most common of the three species.

Widespread and common as an aggregate in Leicestershire and Rutland. Oegoconia quadripuncta would appear to be by far the most common of the three species.
