A very small harvestman recognised by the long pedipalps held folded in front of the body. The body is around 3 mm in length and brown, with golden transverse lines.

In moss and under stones and logs.

Early spring to winter.

The pedipalps are covered in sticky hairs called 'viscid seta' which help with the capture of prey.

Uncommon but widely distributed.

Rarely recorded due to small size.
