Micropterna sequax
Description
Length 13 to 18 mm. A fairly large, plain orangey brown caddis with paler speckling. It is quite similar to Micropterna lateralis but having paler areas in the forks between the wing veins.

Habitat
Breeds in temporary or semi permanent streams. Sometimes attracted to light.
When to see it
June to October.
Life History
Larval case is built of sand grains but with a region of small stones sharply demarcated.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
