Description
Wing length 12 to 17 mm. Usually more strongly marked than L. rhombicus, but sometimes quite similar.
Habitat
Ponds, lakes and pools and even temporary pools.
When to see it
Peak is June to October with summer diapause.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
VC55 Status
Occasional in Leicestershire and Rutland.
