Description
Thallus variable in colour from whitish, through green and even brownish and having dark brown or black discs.
Identification difficulty
Habitat
On urban walls and paths, cement, mortar. Also found on weakly calcareous or base-enriched siliceous rocks.

Widespread and common in Britain.
VC55 Status
Common in Leicestershire and Rutland.
