Description
This is a tiny (around 3 mm) flea beetle. Its dark brown punctate elytra become more golden at the rear.

Peak time is spring and summer.
Life History
Strongly associated with horsetails.
UK Status
Frequent and widespread in Britain.
VC55 Status
Infrequent in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were only 10 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
