Description
Length 5.2 mm. Mid legs with shorter claws, ≤ tarsus-length. Abdominal segment 7 upperside with middle of hind margin convex & bearing tuft of long hairs. Strigil broad, 6 combs.

In detritus-filled ponds where much of the vegetation may consist of flooded grass and other situations where grass and/or moss are submerged.

Scattered throughout England and Wales.
