Description
Very variable. Brown or green brown thallus, lobes usually erect and wrinkled with entire or regularly lanceolate margins.

Habitat
Usually found among moss on trees, calcareous rocks and soil and on mortar.
When to see it
All year round.
UK Status
Widespread, particularly in the west of the UK.
VC55 Status
Uncommon in Leicestershire and Rutland.
