Similar to London Rocket, but hairier, especially below and with brighter yellow flowers, 4 to 6 mm, not overtopped by the young fruits.

Seed-pods long and sticking out from stem, without beak, splitting into 2 valves with one row of seeds in each valve; lowest leaves lobed, upper stem-leaves divided but not pinnate; fruit pedicels nearly as wide as ripe fruit, petals longer than sepals or stamens.

Occasional in the London area, scarce or rare elsewhere in Britain.

Uncommon in the Leicestershire and Rutland area. The Ratby record of June 2015 is only the second modern record of this plant in our region, the first coming from Glenfield in 1998. It was not recorded in the 1979 Flora survey of Leicestershire.
