Males 1.8 to 2.9 mm; Females: 2.5 to 3.2 mm. Two tubercles on abdomen.

Ero furcata also has two tubercles on the abdomen.

Examination of genitalia is required to confirm this species.

Found on trees, bushes, low vegetation and in leaf litter in a variety of habitats.

All year. 

Widespread in southern Britain, more restricted and scattered in the north.

Widespread in Leicestershire and Rutland .
