Description

Entyloma ficariae affects the live leaf of Lesser Celandine (Ficaria verna). Pale patches that are angular in shape, partly defined by the leaf venation, are formed; the underside of the leaf bears a corresponding patch of whitish conidia.

Provide photograph of the fungus and the host plant; ensure you include a note identifying the host species.

Habitat

Wherever Lesser Celandine occurs.

When to see it

April and May.

Widespread in Britain.

VC55 Status

Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
