Length 3.5 to 4 mm; macropterous or brachypterous. Shorter legs and antennae than many other Dicyphus; the 3rd antennal segment is much less than head width across the eyes.  The 2nd antennal segment is usually pale, but may be darker at the base; the basal antennae may be marked with red.  The head is pale with dark markings.  The front part of the pronotum has two rounded lumps (pronotal callosities) which just touch each other on the midline.  Fine tibial spines are shorter than the tibial width.  (ref.: B S Nau, unpublished key to Miridae, 2012)

This species is found on Foxglove.
