Best June and July.
Life History
Breeds in dry fungus and decaying timber of broad-leaved trees.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in England and Wales, less common elsewhere in Britain.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 30 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
