A larger mushroom growing in clusters on conifer wood, with yellow-brown caps.  The gills are pale grey initially, darening to purpl-black as it ages. 

very similar to Sulphur Tuft, but never with greenish tints in the gills.  

This is scarce in VC55, and we recommend that it is verified by an expert from a specimen before submission to NatureSpot.  Photograph from top down and in side view, and underneath to show gills and full length of stipe.  It is essential that the gills are photographed.  Note habitat and substrate.
