Identification difficulty
Habitat
Around tree stumps or dead wood with an amount of fungus growth.
When to see it
All year round.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in the southern half of Britain.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 37 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
