A species of extensive habitats on warm, dry soils, exposed to the sun.
When to see it
All year round, but most likely to be encountered between April and September.
UK Status
Most British records come from south of a line between the Humber and the Severn.
VC55 Status
Occasional in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 12 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
