Measuring around 4 mm, this is a chestnut brown weevil with white markings on the elytra which may be quite faint.

• Brown with pale band across elytra in basal half
• Legs and rostrum red-brown
• Tooth on front femora and smaller tooth on hind femora
• Usually found on Hawthorn
