Description

A small elongated bug associated with Turkey Oak. Males with yellow-orange head, pronotum and dorsal surface, usually shading to red-orange near cuneus; pale antennae and legs, and yellow/orange cuneus with pale base. Females are larger and paler - almost translucent.

A recent coloniser of the UK (2014)

VC55 Status

Probably under-recorded; appears to be locally common on host tree (all Turkey Oaks sampled in June 2025 had this species, sometimes in large numbers)
