A pale yellowish species, with dark smudges on the wings and with an areola postica cell not joined to the median vein. There are dark patches on the thorax and a dark line from the antennal base through the eye.   

There are several pale yellowish species with similar venation and dark marks on wings, including the common Valenzuela flavidus

Photos need to show the wing pattern and venation clearly, ideally from a specimen. This species is difficut to identify from a field photo. We advise you to retain the specimen in case this is needed for verification
