Description
A brown bug associated with reedamce (Typha). It has short antennnae that are less than the width of the pronotum at base, a distinctively patterned head, a banded connexivum and a pale V-shaped mark on the scutellum. Mating pairs are often seen on reedmace heads over summer.

Good field photographs taken on the host plant, or photos of a specimen showing head, pronotum and scutellum
Habitat
On Typha (reedamce or bulrush), or marginal waterside vegetation.
When to see it
Adult: All year.
