Cacopsylla fulguralis
A large psyllid associated with culivated Eleagnus shrubs. It has brown forewings with a distinctive pattern and a clear white spot on the upper edge of the wing.
This species can be identified from good quality photographs with care but there are similar species that it could be confused with.

Found on cultivated Eleagnus shrubs
Usually April to September.
An invading species from Japan which is spreading rapidly northwards (ref.: British Bugs website; link below).
