Habitat
Disturbed ground where Goosefoot species occur.
When to see it
First generation fly in May with a second generation in July and August.
Life History
The larvae feed on Goosefoot species (Chenopodium spp.)
UK Status
Became established in South-east England in the 1950s and has since spread slowly, now reaching the English Midlands.
VC55 Status
Rare in our area. First recorded in VC55 (Leicestershire and Rutland) in June 2025.
