A small inkcap, narrowly egg-shaped when young, grey with a veil of white threads. Open mature caps are blueish-grey, and shed the veil of white threads; the caps expans int a bell shape often rolled up at he edges. Gills whitish, then blackening and deliquescing,  Stems whitish and with small woolly flecks. 

There are several similar species and microscopic examination is needed to separate them.

This is a difficult species, and we recommend that it is verified by an expert from a specimen before submission to Naturespot.  Microscopic examination will be needed.  Also photograph from top down, in side view and underneath to show gills and full length of stipe; note habitat and substrate.
