A large milkcap with distinctive yellowish-olive, brownish or greenish-black caps.    Sticky when wet, drying matt.  Young caps may have a bristly inrolled margin.  Milk white, quickly acrid-tasting.   Ammonia or Potassium hydroxide on the cap immediately turns bright purple.
