Recording advice

Photograph showing growth form and habitat, and photograph one club from tip to base of stem; note habitat.  Microscopic examination or verification by an expert before submission to NatureSpot is needed.  Records for this indicator of conservation grassland are important, so even if it hasn't been confirmed  by microscopy, record as the genus Clavaria and note that it was White Spindles/Pointed Club.

Habitat

Grassland and sometimes in woodland
