The larva of the Agromyzid fly Phytomyza glechomae mines the leaves of Ground-ivy (Glechoma hederacea). The leaf-mine starts with a corridor section, which widens, sometimes into a blotch, and then another corridor is made.

Leaf-mine Adult

Provide backlit photographs of the whole leaf-mine in the leaf, and the larva, and note the host plant. 

The mine is likely to occur anywhere that Ground-ivy grows.
