Description
This beetle is light golden brown in colour and between 2 and 4 mm long. It has enlarged femurs typical of flea beetles.

Habitat
Feeds on the leaves of Ragwort, particularly Common Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
When to see it
All year round peaking June to September.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 26 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
