Length 4.5-6mm. A large orange/yellow-brown leafhopper associated with Black Poplar and its hybrids.  It may have a pinkish tint or golden sheen. Usually a pale mid-line on the pronotum and top of the face.

Close examination of a specimen is needed.  Provide photographs taken from top, side and face; and note the host plant. 

Found on Poplars and sometimes Willows.

Adult: mainly June to October although females overwinter in conifers.
