Description
A variable Cladonia with grey, many-branched podetia which have squamules at the bottom and are farinose or sorediate at the top. Fruiting cups are sometimes present and these are bright red.
Habitat
On rotting wood and posts and also on stumps and soil in woodlands and heaths.

All year.
