Habitat
Usually found on Elder but has used a number of other plants.

Summer.
Life History
Large colonies often form on the stems of Elder.
UK Status
Thought to be widespread and fairly frequent in Britain, but it is little recorded.
VC55 Status
Thought to be widespread and fairly frequent in our area, but it is little recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
