Identification difficulty
Habitat
Wet fields, river margins, lakeshores and light woodland.
When to see it
All year round.
UK Status
Widespread in much of Britain but never really common.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 53 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
