The yellow unbranched clubs growing in grassland.may either be Golden Spindles (Clavulinopsis fusiformis), Yellow Club (Clavulinopsis helvola) or Apricot Club (Clavulinopsis luteoalba).  It is very hard to separate these in the field.  Microscopic examination of spores is needed, but it can be difficult to identify the smooth-spored species.    

Therse species are important indicators of conservation grasslands, and therefore we do still want records, even if only to genus.
