Chaitophorus capreae apterae are white to yellowish-white to bluish-green with no distinct dark dorsal abdominal markings. In autumn, the small, bright yellow males with dark antennae are distinctive.  For more details about this species see the 'Further Information' link below.

Chaitophorus salicti has more-or-less extensive dark markings on the dorsum.
