A small (c.2.5mm) black bug with heavily spotted tibia.  Pale tip to end of femora, and hairs on tibia arise from black spots. 

There are several other small black bugs that are similar (see Halticus and other Chlamydatus species).

This speces is difficut to photograph in the field due to its small size; we recommend that you photograph a specimen 

sparse grassland/bare ground with leguminous plants
