This is a yellowy grey or pale grey-green lichen with a cracking crust. It has jade coloured fruits which can become more buff when wet.

On silica rich rocks and walls, and occasionally on wood.

All year round

Widespread and common in Britain.

Common in Leicestershire and Rutland.
