This is a small, pale creamy aphid, the body length of the adult aptera of Rhopalomyzus lonicerae is 2.0 to 2.6 mm. (see 'Further info' link).

Please provide good photographs showing the aphids, plus host plant and galls if present.

The primary host of this aphid is Honeysuckle (Lonicera) where is lives within a gall-like, crumpled leaf in spring. The secondary host are grasses, especially Phalaris.

Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
