The larva mines the winged stems and leaves of Everlasting Peas (Lathyrus latifolius and Lathyrus sylvestris).  The long white mine is in the wing of the stem, but often starts in leaf (though not always).

Provide backlit photographs of the whole leaf-mine in the leaf, and note the host plant

Wherever the host plants occur – often in domestic gardens.

The mines uaully occur between April and November.

Pupation takes place outside the mine.
