Length 7 to 8 mm. Hind tarsus with small dark mark at apex of inner edge, opposite similar mark on base of claw; corium sharply wrinkled longitudinally, light dorsal markings fragmented.

Found in a variety of habitats including ponds and lakes, often attracted to light traps.
