Limotettix striola
Length 3.5 to 5.0 mm. A greenish-yellow leafhopper associated with Spike-rush and other sedges. There is a dark band across the vertex between the eyes with a pale stripe in front, and dark markings on the face.
Limotettix atricapillus also has a pale stripe on the vertex but it is much shorter; it is nationally rare and has not been recorded in VC55

Marshy habitats (both freshwater and saltmarshes) and associated with sedges such as spike-rush.

Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland, but may be freuqent is suitable habitats with Spike-rush, etc.
