A small green bug that is similar to many other species.  It has green wing membrane cells and patches of silvery hairs on the dorsal side, giving a white-speckled appearance     It is associated with Chenopodiaceae such as fat-hen and oraches.  Dissection of male genitalia will confirm identification.

Adult: June-September.

A common species throughout much of Britain.

Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland, but probably under-recorded.
