Frequent in relatively damp terrain, in herbaceous and bush layer.

Summer and autumn.
Life History
Builds an untidy web, often in thistles.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in much of Britain.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
