Idiocerus lituratus
Description
Length 5.5 to 6.5 mm. The forewing is brownish, mottled with white spots and a faint dark band. The face is mostly light; the distance between ocelli is greater than the distance from ocellus to antennal base.
Similar Species
Oher Idiocerinae found on sallows and willows; best distinguished from Idiocerus stigmaticalis by apical wing venation

Habitat
Associated with various willows.
When to see it
Adult: July to November.
