Description
Length 9 to 13 mm. A slender very pale brown caddis fly with exceptionally long antennae.
Identification difficulty
Habitat
Pons, lakes, canals and slow moving rivers. It is also attracted to light.
When to see it
May to September.
Life History
Larvae are mainly predators.
UK Status
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent Leicestershire and Rutland.
