Description
Length 5 to 9 mm. A light reddish brown caddis with very distinct veins. Hindwing narrow with front edge slightly cut away towards the tip.

Habitat
To be found around streams, lakes, pools and rivers, but can also be attracted to light.
When to see it
May to September.
Life History
Breeds in lakes, pools and rivers.
UK Status
Widespread and quite common in Britain.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
